We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated, talented, inspiring and resourceful shop manager. Our retail business has grown considerably since our recent relocation, and we are looking for an ambitious and dedicated individual to take the Oi Polloi shopping experience to the next level.
We expect our customers’ experience to exceed all others, in terms of service, product, staff and atmosphere — we search globally for our benchmarks.
We’re looking for someone who is equally comfortable on the shop floor managing the sales team as they are away from the shop; supporting and interacting with back-office, web operations, stockroom, logistics, planning and conducting sales analysis.
The successful person will be a key contributor toward management, marketing and directors meetings — possessing excellent communication skills. This is a key management position with excellent prospects to grow quickly with the business.
The successful candidate will…
Be commercially aware, with a strong understanding and appreciation for the Oi Polloi brand, ethos and tone of voice.
Be a strong leader, willing to make tough decisions where necessary.
Have a good understanding of critical retail numbers / key performance indicators.
Constantly look for new business and find ways to maximise sales / business profitability.
Have at least 2 years experience managing a premium or luxury branded or shop with a strong focus on delivering service.
