Oi Polloi are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious person with solid digital photography skills to join the Oi Polloi e-commerce team.
We’re looking for a person who will contribute by bringing new ideas to the table, furthering Oi Polloi’s web presence and driving sales. As a member of the e-commerce team you will be principally responsible for producing the product photography for the online shop and will work with the rest of the team to manage these products online.
The right candidate will…
Be a reliable and committed person with initiative, who is meticulous in their work and who can communicate with people at all levels within the business.
Have the necessary photography skills to produce consistent studio product photography.
Have a passion for the products we sell and the culture surrounding them.
Have an understanding of the Oi Polloi business, its goals and tone of voice.
Understand how online merchandising affects conversion.
Keep up to date with industry trends, developments and techniques.
Be able to work with marketing, despatch and stockroom teams to make informed decisions about how and when to introduce new brands and products onto oipolloi.com.
Be a natural problem solver who will be able to work with the e-commerce team and develop and improve the overall online merchandising direction and strategy.
Necessary skills
Be comfortable using a range of photography equipment, including studio lighting.
Have a good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, and the necessary post-production skills to edit product imagery, i.e. cropping, basic re-touching and colour correcting etc.
