Deck~Out~and~About: Tales from the Riverbank

Published: Fri Aug 26 2016

Last week we took loads of Patagonia garb down to the river for a bit of the ol’ fly fishing.

The sun was shining, the water was flowing and the trout were leaping majestically from the river like little aquatic Les Ferdinands. It was, as you can imagine, a beautiful scene.

No one actually caught anything, but there was a Co-Op nearby, so we didn’t go hungry.

Thanks to the folks at Patagonia, Peter from Farlows and the guys at Save the Conwy for all their help.

And before anyone says anything—we know we’ve done fishing-based photo-shoots before, but this one is fly fishing so it’s loads different.

For this jaunt, Junior was wearing the P6 Logo T-Shirt, a pair of Gi III Pants, a Lightweight Travel Hip Pack and a P6 Logo Trucker Hat. On his feet he wore a pair of Hurricane XLT by Teva.

Ladi wore the Long-Sleeved Sol Patrol Shirt, the super cosy Synchilla Snap-T Pants and a Shelled Synchilla Duckbill Cap. When not knee deep in the water he was wearing Birkenstock with an Arbor Pack on his back.

Other items include the Lightweight Synchilla Snap-T Pullover, Arbor Duffel and the Black Hole Cube
