The Pink Panther
Since 3D animation came along, times have been hard for the two-dimensional characters of yore. Yogi Bear was arrested for indecent exposure, Captain Caveman was forced to move back to his cave and Deputy Dawg lost his badge after a drunken scrap with Muskie Muskrat.
But what of that funky fuchsia feline, the Pink Panther? Well, unlike his washed-up pals, he’s not doing too badly. The last we heard he’d donated all his Saturday morning royalty money to charity and was living a simple, humble life on an allotment, quietly growing organic vegetables with his friends Sting and Sean Penn.
Like all cats, he does have a tendency to go to the bathroom in the vegetable patch, but Sting reckons it’s good for the environment.
