Another day, another slew of old imagery harvested from our good friend, the internet. This time around, we've got some old North Face adverts and catalogue pages from the classic down-jackets and mountain-parkas of the 70s up to the 1990s and the age of 'technical layering'.
Founded in San Francisco in 1964 by mountain man Doug Tompkins and his wife Susie, The North Face has been around so long that it's sometimes easy to forget that behind that much-copied logo, it's one of the most dedicated purveyors of serious outdoor wear.
