Pendleton doesn't get as much love as it should, so if you don't mind we're going to shower it with affection right here, right now. It's long overdue. You're probably aware of their place in the history of Americana, right up there with Woolrich but we bet you didn't know they once lent their name to a certain Californian quintet- The Beach Boys. Due to their patronage of Pendleton shirts, their previous name was actually The Pendletones. So what was it that floated their boat/surfboard about Pendleton so much?
