Folk

Folk clothing was established in 2001. Simple and well-made, it's stand-out characteristic is subtle but off-beat design detailing. Head-honcho Cathal McAteer has been nominated for Scottish Designer of the Year twice now, and his design philosophy can be described as such: "We do not try and re-create the wheel in terms of styles but focus on developing our own fabrics, trims and design details to create easy wearing garments with that little bit of something extra that hopefully sets Folk apart from its peers."
