NOVESTA

Novesta come out of the shoe factory Jan Antonín Baťa built in Partizánske, Slovakia in the late 1930s, and they are still made there. The rubber is natural and the soles are vulcanised, heat-pressed onto the canvas on the original machinery without glue. We have the Trampky in all suede, a boot version of the idea, and the Lone Star chukka done with Noel Gallagher. First time a Slovak factory has needed to know where Burnage is.
