Belstaff was founded in 1924 in Stoke-on-Trent, originally producing waterproof garments made from the world's first waterproof breathable fabric, which was of course "wax cotton".
During the 30s Belstaff specialised in making technical garments wind-proof, rain-proof and resistant to heavy friction. Therefore they specialised in garments for aviators, bikers, army and for anyone living an active life outdoor.
Belstaff have been collaborating with the Italians since 1996, to reintroduce some of the classic designs from their extensive back catalogue.
