The Hawkwind Coat is a serious wool overcoat from London’s Y.M.C. It’s made from some thick boiled wool that should keep the harsh winter breeze out, and has a particularly slick lining inside to keep things smooth and itch free. The buttons on the front also deserve a mention, because not only are they massive, but they look like round blocks of marble from some Greek temple. And it’s called the Hawkwind Coat… was this the Silver Machine they were singing about?
