We don’t like to throw the term ‘behemoth’ around lightly, but we think this Down Parka from Stone Island justly earns the coveted title as one of the biggest, burliest parkas we’ve ever stocked. Yep, it’s certainly quite epic indeed.
It’s so fantastical in fact, we’re not sure where to start when we’re nattering about it.
Well, firstly, it’s filled with duck down, off the bat making it a serious heat-hoarder that’s not to be trifled with. Next up, the fabric: it’s made from is something called ‘Pertex Quantum’, which according to age-old texts, is tightly woven from incredibly fine yarns, giving it a light and soft feel that allows insulation to fully loft. It’s also had a good dousing in DWR, making it highly water-repellent. As for features, it’s got a mezze of secure pockets deep enough to get lost in, a little compass patch thing on the sleeve, and a wool-peaked hooded for added comfort and warmth.
Next time it’s brass monkeys outside, you can walk with your head held high, like a god amongst men. Truly astounding garb from Stone Island here.
