On a trip to Barcelona in 2017, Oscar Phillips and Sheriff Deen Showobi of Oscar Deen got tipped off about a beach side market where they could drop on some military-standard frames worn by US army marshalls during the war. Named after the guy that pointed ‘em in the right direction, these Nelson sunglasses are a melding of the mid-century precedent with more modern additions like that keyholed bridge and subtle hue-scapes, all made from some top-class Italian acetate.
