The 1970’s Chuck Taylor All Taylor All Star Hi shoes are a straight-up recreation of what high-top Chucks were like in the 70s. With much thicker canvas, a higher sole and a slightly wider fit, they’re a much more substantial pair of trainers than their modern-day counterparts, and have a ‘stoutness’ you wouldn’t usually associate with a pair of Converse.
These ones here have a chunky, woven upper, stitched by seven basketball-playing wizards, who swear by the chunky quality. Don’t take our word for it, take theirs.
