It's been a while, but the adidas Montreal has finally returned. These were originally designed as a post-football shoe for the German team at the 1976 Montreal Olympics.
Thanks to those collapsible midsoles, these could be thrown on with ease after a hard 90 minutes of footballing, without having to waste time with tying laces. If you find yourself at an Olympic sporting event, have zero tolerance for laces, or if you’ve only got three minutes to dash for the morning train, these babies should be bob on.
