La Paz is Bolivia’s third most populated city. It’s also the name of a band of Portuguese clothing-creators who make some of the best sunshine-scented schmutter this side of the cosmos. Portugal has a long history of nautical activity, so you shouldn’t be too shocked to hear that there’s a salty aroma to La Paz’s gear — their logo is a massive anchor for a start.
But don’t worry if you don’t know your oars from your elbow; even if you’re not a starry-eyed young cabin boy there’s a lot to like here. Sweatshirts made from luscious terry-towelling, hoodies made from ultra-chunky pique cotton, jumpers that look like anaglypta wallpaper… pretty stupendous stuff to say the least.
