Founded all the way back in 1963, Henri Lloyd is the seafaring brainchild of Angus Lloyd and Henri Strzelecki.
Sailing garb is the name of the game, and their Consort jacket is a stone cold classic.
Originally designed in 1965 by Henri himself, this was a fixture on the decks of barnacle-covered catamarans, before becoming the jacket of choice of the sandwich-lovin’ scooter boys of the Italian Paninaro scene in the mid-80s.
Our man Nigel had a shop in the early 90s pretty much devoted to these too.
Whether you’re bothered about their history or not, one thing’s for sure… the Consort is a serious slab of outerwear, ideal for Manchester’s less-than-ideal weather.
