“How come footballers are always stood next to cars?”

This perplexing question was recently asked by OP boss-man Steve Sanderson, leading us down a cybernetic rabbit hole in search of the answer.

We’ve still got no idea why the world's finest ball-booters are often crouched near the wheel arches of shiny automobiles, but we did stumble upon a few standout images.

First person to correctly identify all players and their cars gets a mystery prize.

BigBadoit – Very well done – and in good time too. Thought Gazza’s vehicle of choice might have been a tough one, but apparently not. Spent about an hour looking at Saab grill formations and Sven’s looks like a lot like an ‘82 900 Turbo. In other words, you’ve got the prize. I’ll fire an e-mail over now. Buzzing someone managed this.

  • Saab bloke

    Impressive but isn’t 17 a 99 Turbo?
