I was recently lucky enough to be taken on a tour round the Stone Island factory and HQ in the province of Modena, Italy by the main man himself Carlo Rivetti.
Whilst there I was shown the different methods of garment dying, research facilities, and the science that really goes into this iconic brand. On top of this I caught a sneak peak of the 45,000 pieces strong archive.
Although this was almost a bit of a history lesson at times, it's also quite clear that this brand has no intention of slowing down and really look to continue to be innovative in the coming years.
