Pica~Sounds is our monthly excuse to head over to Soup Kitchen (just up the road from our Thomas Street headquarters) and lose ourselves in the vibrant and eclectic world of music. Records are spun, drinks are drunk and food is devoured.
We're finishing off the year with an Oi Polloi fave, Mike Greenwell. As one of the shadowy figures behind the decks of Cosmic Slop, Mike has soundtracked many a covert night out in Leeds, playing a real mix that dances your feet and head in equal amounts. When he's not working sound systems like a champ, Mike also runs an informative and illuminating blog called World Treasures Music and seems to have one of the most prolific mixcloud accounts going.
Not one to miss.
