Joy O’s ‘BSRkR01’ slo-mo disco mix got extended air-play in the Oi Polloi office not so long ago, meaning his latest effort was always going to get a listen. This time the offerings are more house and techno orientated, put together to mark the arrival of Hinge Finger — a new label he’s working on with Honest Jon’s affiliate, Will The Trilogy Tapes Bankhead.
Anyway, the mix is ace, taking in both Chicago classicism and more syncopated, bass-driven sounds. Download / listen up.
