Ebbets Field Flannels

You probably don’t know this, but in America, rounders is known as baseball, and it’s actually fairly popular. An avid collector of baseball cards since his youth, Jerry Cohen started Ebbets Field Flannels in 1987 after spending a few too many fruitless days trying to find old baseball jerseys to wear when playing in his band. Focussing on lesser known designs from the non-major-leagues, Ebbets Field Flannels offer everything for the discerning baseball head — from 1914 Kansas City Packers jerseys to caps as worn by the 1954 Miami Beach Flamingos.

But we’re not going to lie — we know nothing about baseball, so for us it’s the more understated, ‘no-logo’ caps that really hit home, and are just the things to get into that Superbowl spirit. And there was us saying we knew nothing about baseball…

On a similar, star-spangled sportswear, tip is National Athletic Goods. Inspired by their massive collection of vintage 40’s and 50’s athletic wear, their sweatshirts and t-shirts are super-classic staples that are just as good on the track and field as they are in the Dog and Duck. The same bunch also operate under the name Homespun, producing uplifting remakes of depression-era undershirts. It’s also worth mentioning that National Athletic Goods and Homespun are brought to us by the good folks at Inventory, which certainly says a bit about the quality of this stuff.
