THE HISTORY OF THE DECK~OUT
Well folks, the day has finally arrived – the Deck~Out is officially four hundred years old! Someone fetch Colin the Caterpillar (or Cuthbert, depending on where your loyalties lie) post haste!
We know it seems far-fetched, but we remember quilling the first one of these, a particularly chucklesome take-down of the style sensibilities of Plymouth Colony, onto crude manuscript like it was yesterday. Despite the primitive nature of the world's printing presses at the time, the Deck~Out spread like wildfire, and skyrocketed to the upper echelons of cultural gubbins, where it has proudly remained for four millennia, without its esteem and adoration ever waning...
In all seriousness, cheers to everyone who's been reading these over the years. Your continued support makes these incredibly moronic flights-of-fancy possible, and for that, we thank you.
