Remember that late 80s series with the fella out of the Wicker Man playing a private detective? He was called Edward Woodward. He was…What are you laughing at? Anyway, as we’re in the year for revivals of all things 1989, we hear this chap is reprising the role as a more modern take on The Equaliser. He’s got that “Don’t mess or I will kill you to death, in the face” thing going on for a start. But instead of overcoats and funeral steez he’s gone for a look that screams Basquiat meets La Haine, from the top of it’s voice, in French. Cool as a concombre in a congélateur.
