We once had a teacher who, for legal reasons, we’ll refer to here as ‘Mr. Jones’. He was a pretty moody dude on Tuesday’s and once did a really bad acoustic version of ‘The Drugs Don’t Work’ in assembly. We bumped into him in a club in town once. He said “call me Dave”. Bit weird. Anyway, for all his failings as a pillar of the geography teaching community – he knew a thing or two about the joys of jumbo corduroy. If he taught us one thing it was this. Unfortunately there’s no such subject as a GCSE in Jumbo Cord. Still, this Deck-Out’s a dedication to ‘Dave’.
