The Man in the Slick Suit was once a regular man like any other, and then, one fateful day, he got a slick suit. Since then, things have really been on the up.
People listen to what he has to say, waiters at fancy restaurants give him free puddings and parking officers turn a blind eye to his love of double yellows. He doesn’t have to work anymore either, and apart from having Paul Simon asking him to lay down a saxophone solo for his new album, or Martin Scorsese calling up for a bit of help directing a scene in his latest film, he’s free to do as he pleases.
Except on wash day, that is. With that slick suit in the wash, he’s just a normal man and has to do normal things like taking out the bins and cleaning out the gutters.
