1936 Type 1 Jacket
Blanket Lined Indigo

Levi's Vintage 1936 type 1 denim jacket with blanket wool lining. An exact replica of an extremely rare piece, recently bought from a Japanese collector.

It has a narrow collar, 2 tone top stitching, button-fastening chest pocket with Levi's red tab and double pleat detail running parallel to each side of button placket. At the back of the jacket, there are two waist darts and crocodile style, cinch-back buckle.

Short, boxy fit, as jeans were worn higher on the waist in the 30s than they are today.
