Kato cotton/ ramie blend shirt, based on a 1950s work shirt with half button placket, large utility chest pocket, narrow cut away collar and insert cuff gusset and 3D sleeve, cut to the shape of the body.

Produced on 1930s 'Cone' looms by spinning untreated linen flax and cotton thread, first separately and then into one thread, to give the finished fabric a stronger finish with a smoother hand. Only the cotton threads are dyed to add depth to the colour whilst maintaining the natural feel of the fabric. Dyed with a double harvested, pot fermented indigo. Hand stitched in Japan.

60% cotton 40% ramie.
