Carl Cunow set up Onia with a familiar story in mind. Many brands are born out of the desire to fill a gap in the market and Onia was no different. Carl could never find a pair of swimming shorts that he liked. He wanted something that resembled a regular pair of smart shorts but in a fabric designed for use in the water.

Onia Swimshorts are made with a precise mixture of cotton and nylon imported from Japan and Korea. They're designed for comfort and possess and understated style not normally associated with beachwear. In terms of the shape and sizing, they're specifically constructed so that there's no bunching up in uncomfortable places and the fabric means they're quick drying.

Onia claim their shorts are designed for the beach, the boat, the bungalow and beyond. We reckon that's spot on.
