Dr Martens

Dr Martens was a real person who actually spelt his name Maertens. He met a chap by the name of Griggs via a classified ad. This was pre-internet remember. In fact it was almost pre-teenager. But it was the teens who took the alliance of Martens and Griggs to their heart/feet and almost every 'tribe' since has held a pair of 'Docs' in high regard, one way or another.

Dr Martens make simple, well made, traditional footwear with a track record that stretches back over 50 years.
