D-day is fast approaching (don't panic), shop fit done (tick), phone lines in (tick), few more things to sort out, but we’re still on track for moving into the new shop in two weeks time. We'll be planning it out using our usual military precision, maybe, we'll just dress a bit military like James Stewart, he looked pretty suave. We can now because we've just got our hands on the best A2 leather flying jacket available. This one is made in made in England by Eastman leathers for Heritage Research. Please read the spec, on this jacket, the attention to detail & the craftsmanship that goes into making every single one is breathtaking. You might be thinking £899 sounds like a lot of money, but it's not just a jacket. It's an exact replica of a vintage A2 flying jacket. Anything approaching nearly as good as this from Japan would cost twice as much (in our eyes it's a bargain). You don't just get the jacket, you get an amazing bag, nice pair of gloves & a whistle thrown in for free… See, it is a bargain. These are super, super limited, there will only be up to 50 of these sets available worldwide. They're all hand stencil numbered just the way they were done during the war & we've got numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5. Don't come crying when they've gone, we're all top gunned out of our minds... These are most definitely the best shoes we've ever had in from them, (does that sound like a stuck record? tough). We're not going to go on about them, we’ll just let you look at the pictures. You'd better be quick with these, they're flying out. Did we mention the back pack? We were nearly sick with excitement when they came out of the box (enough said). Did we mention that we're the only stockist of the Ranger moccs? Thought we'd better get that in, just in case you didn't know (we're trying not to show off, but when you're this good it's hard).

We know it's getting a bit ridiculous this week, but bear with us. We've got more Nigel Cabourn jackets, two Monsoons in lightweight linen with PU coating. These are great jackets, we've got two colours, Navy Blue & Yellow.... a lot of jacket for £259... a very reasonable price for a piece of Cabourn clobber, don't think these will hang around too long. The other new addition is the Packaway coat, also in lightweight cotton with PU coating, for shower proofing, this one comes in green.

This ones for the older kids & younger kids that don't know what it is yet. POLYVELDT... Clarks... never have been re-released until now. Here's comes the Norse god of shoes, Oberon polyveldt. We have had more than a passing interest in this shoe, we've liked them since we were kids, we weren't old enough to fit in them first time round. We are now, so we'll take full advantage. We even gave Clarks a helping hand in selecting the correct sole unit for the shoe. Glad they listened, it looks brilliant. WOLF... WOLF… the Clarks Desert boot is back in stock in Wolf. So is the Wallabee low in Tan leather & the Desert Trek in Sand suede (some might say it's best colour…)

YMC stands for ‘you must create’ & create they did. They've come in with a mega collection for Summer. They've reintroduced a basic range, not sure why they called it basic, because it's amazing. It's a slightly stripped back version of what YMC usually do, all the better for us. The colours and quality of the range is as good, if not better, than we've seen it. There are loads of good pieces in the range. We'll highlight a few, we're sure you'll find more when you have a good rummage... The chino's and shorts are ace, it is the quality of the fabric and the way they're put together... The sweatshirts… Their hunting sweats... Hooded sweats... Striped sweats, there's a sweat for every occasion. The jackets are great this season, especially the Parka, it's a light-ish weight waxed cotton fabric, perfect for our shit summers.

And while we're having our shit summer, its no reason not to be sporting a fine pair of sunglasses, like the ones we've just had delivered in from Han Kjøbenhavn. Eyewear of the finest 1950s-inspired variety is what you’ll find at Han Kjøbenhavn. Their mission is simple: to create timeless, handmade specs, available as sunglasses or optical frames. Ninety eight, ninety nine.... Won Hundred, only messing. We've got two sweats... Two shirts & two chinos. The sweats are coming in at £55 and the narrow chinos at £75. The dearest piece in the collection is one of the shirts, we'll forgive that though because it is that good...

Hot on their heels is the Clae summer selection. We've got the Parker in all white leather... Romare in pale grey suede (very posh), and the new kid... Kennedy. It comes in red berry chambray and blue chambray… What can we say? We like chambray.

We've had a new Dockers chino, the San Fransisco. Its tapered, pretty narrow at the hem, this is the best fit to date, for us.

If you want to get ahead, get a hat, that's what grandad used to say. You know what? He was right, if you're going to get a hat you should check out the ones we've got from the Italian mad master hatters Grevi... We've got four of their finest, you can now step out looking at all the world like an Italian pink panther.
