This knitwear is about as good as it gets. They are knitted from yarn using the finest lambswool from Z. Hinchcliffe and Sons Ltd, spinners from Geelong Australia with a history going back to 1766. Alan Paine uses the most modern UK technology on the mule spinning system which produces a soft and luxurious lambswool. Well worth looking after and washing with attention to the care label. The Alan Paine brand has been around since 1907. Initially based in Godalming, Surrey their reputation for craftsmanship using luxury fibres is unrivalled and the area where they began was then well known for wool products. Sticking faithfully to the ethos of those early years, Alan Paine continue to make some of the best knitwear we've seen.
