Sealup was founded in Milan in 1935. Uncompromising quality is the philosophy of the firm, making them one of the most important producers worldwide of luxury waterproofs and outerwear.
They became hugely popular in the late ‘50s and early ‘60s, and were one of Italy’s leading garment-makers. Today, they produce 50,000 garments each year, entirely in Italy with part of their output going to international luxury brands, such as Prada, Marni and Aquascutum.
Keen (and likely) to stay ahead of the field, they have a dedicated research center within the firm, that concentrate on both fabrics
