Robe di Kappa was founded in 1960's Italy, in response to demand for clothing that was casual, yet crisp. The distinctive Kappa logo was supposedly a happy accident created when, after a photo shoot, a man and a woman were sitting back-to-back with the outlines of their bodies traced by the back lighting. Synonymous with most of the top European football clubs in the 1970's & 80's, it didn't take long for Kappa to become a staple garment on the terraces.
