Nike Flyknits

For the last four years Nike have been working with athletes and designers on what they call ‘micro-engineering static properties into pliable materials’. The result of this in-depth investigation? Yep, you guessed it, knitted shoes. Made using a space-age nylon yarn, these aren’t just unbelievably lightweight, but they also offer nothing less than ‘sock-like’ comfort.

All of Nike’s big name runners, sprinters, joggers and jumpers are wearing these at the moment, but that doesn’t mean you need a fresh pair of short shorts and an Apollo Creed crop-top to pull ‘em off — thanks to the fact they look like nothing else, they go with everything.
