Persol 0714, a folding version of the classic 0649, developed in 1957 for tram drivers in Turin who needed large glasses to protect their eyes from dust. Famously worn by Steve Mcqueen for most of his life, these are an absolute design classic. Handmade in Italy from Italian materials, featuring trademark 'Meflecto' system and 3-notch-bridge for flexibility and comfort. With crystal glass lens and unmistakeable 'Supreme Arrow' detail at arm hinges. Folds at bridge of nose and arms, which lock into place. 3 year manufacturer guarantee. With embossed, compact leather case and lens cloth. Face measures approx. 140 × 50mm Come with green lens as standard.
